What does it truly mean for the Holy Spirit to govern our lives, and are we actually letting Him?

This teaching takes us deep into the reality that the Holy Spirit is not a feeling, a goose bump, or even a miraculous manifestation. He is a person, the third member of the Trinity, and His role is to administrate the government of God through us.

The central tension explored here is the gap between the Holy Spirit living inside us and the Holy Spirit working through us. That gap is bridged by one thing: yielding.

Drawing from John 16:13, where Jesus describes the Spirit as one who speaks not on His own authority but communicates the will of the King, we are confronted with a profound question about our own lives. Are we communicating our own agendas, or are we communicating the Father's?

This teaching unpacks a beautiful governmental order: the Father purposes, the Son possesses and reigns, and the Spirit reveals and applies. This is not abstract theology. It is a framework for how we engage every assignment, every relationship, and every moment of worship.

When we understand that the assignment comes from the King but the ability to accomplish it comes through the Spirit's power, as seen in Acts 1:8, we stop trying to do kingdom work without kingdom power.

This message calls us to stop spectating and start yielding, because the government of God only flows through those who make room for it.
